With the Simcity BuildIt chat sign language, asking, offering, and many other functions that are normally done by typing full sentences, are done in a very fast and concrete way, which speeds up the chat and waiting times.
Before using this trick you must know the most common acronyms in the club (Learn how to use acronyms) so that you understand the symbols explained below.
Symbol | Meaning | Explanation |
"I need" | It is used to ask for any items. Following this symbol you put as many items as you need up to a maximum of 5, which is what the chat supports. | |
"Put in my trade depot without promotion" | It is used when you put the items in your trade depot that another person has previously requested with the question mark. The graphic of the items that you put in is put below, up to a maximum of 5, which is what the chat supports. | |
"I have" | It is used to indicate that you have a certain items. It does NOT mean that it has been put in trade depot. It is also used as EYA (Learn to use acronyms). | |
"Thank you" | In addition to the usual use for smiling, this icon is used to say thank you. | |
"Gift" | It is used to give away items placed after this icon. They are usually put in trade depot at price "1" or at a price well below what they cost. | |
"Need BUSE" | It is used to request a COVE of the items placed next to the symbol. | |
"Sell Outside" | It is used to indicate that the items you put next to this symbol you have put it to sell outside. It is usually at an expensive price and is indicated in the chat in case someone might be interested. |

In the example you ask for BUSE of 5 barbecues, and Cielos y Estrellas buys them and sells them unpromoted, alerting you with the storage sign when you put them in your trade depot.
